Abstract. This article discusses the types of complex syntactic integers by their external form. The timeliness of the work is due to the need for a more complete scientific study of the features of the composition of a complex syntactic whole in the Tatar language. The purpose of the study is to determine the features of the external structure of a complex syntactic whole in the Tatar language. The research material was texts related to different functional styles of the Tatar language. The scientific novelty of the study consists in a comprehensive analysis of the syntactic whole of a simple model, in the introduction of new terms to denote the types of this model. The paper offers a sample analysis of a complex syntactic whole of a simple model and a diagram demonstrating the number of syntactic structures, including the complication of a simple sentence. Such an analysis will help to determine the formal boundaries of the components of a complex syntactic whole, the features of their connection with each other, the features of its beginning and ending. As a result of the analysis, it is revealed that the complex syntactic whole is divided into two types by its external form: a simple model and a mixed model. A simple model, in turn, consists of models combining simple sentences and complex sentences. These language models are quite productive and are often used to construct complex syntactic integers in literary, scientific style texts, as well as in the style of mass communication. The practical significance of the work is due to the fact that its results can be used in educational and special courses and special seminars on the syntax of the Tatar language, stylistics and text problems.

Keywords: complex syntactic whole; simple model; mixed model; model of combination of simple sentences; model of combination of complex sentences; functional styles; Tatar language
