About the relation to information in the information society

Abstract. In article the concept of information society, its definition, emergence history, ways of construction and a way of development briefly is considered. Our country, owing to the history, potential of intellectual opportunities and traditional spiritual and moral values can and has to be a reference point in creation of information society. In work some official documents accepted by the President and the Government of the Russian Federation for formation of information society in our country are analysed. In particular, «The development strategy of information society in the Russian Federation for 2017-2030 years» as which main activities are recognized safety, stability, reliability, spirituality, a priority of the Russian traditional values is considered. Data of the sociological polls showing the level of the involvement of citizens of the Russian Federation into use of electronic public services, use of the Internet, various social networks and messengers are provided. Data of survey conducted at School of pedagogics of Far Eastern Federal University in 2017 among students of internal and correspondence department are brought and analysed. Interest, but lack of information of students in some social problems significant for formation of system of traditional values of future teacher is shown. It is shown that an overwhelming part of the population of Russia spends considerable time on the Internet and on social networks, but the question of social and pedagogical usefulness of this pastime is open and, undoubtedly, strategically significant. Not only presence at new information realities, but also their spiritual judgment for which the modern person sometimes lacks time and forces is important for formation of information society.
