Abstract. The article presents the Nizhny Novgorod experience of interaction between preschool institutions, children and parents to create a unified spiritual and moral space, ensure cultural and pedagogical competence (primarily) of young parents and build interpersonal and socio-cultural partnership, dialogue of preschool teachers with the families of pupils through joint educational and project activities. The authors show effective practices and technologies of partnership between pedagogical collectives of preschool institutions and parents to create a unified spiritual, moral, cultural, educational and training space in Nizhny Novgorod.

The five-year experience of reviewing the state of work of preschool institutions with families (since 2018) in the framework of the work of the City Scientific and Practical Laboratory named after N.N. Belik is summarized. The analysis of the level of parental culture revealed the presence of a number of problems, the solution and correction of which is necessary in the preschool period of the child’s development. To study the mechanism of interaction between parents, children and pedagogical collectives of preschool institutions, the following performed: questioning, interviewing, observation, content analysis of letters, self-observation diaries, drawings of children, modeling of problematic psychological and pedagogical situations, brainstorming, etc.

A new classification of the family is proposed for scientific analysis, i.e. not according to the principle of «full or incomplete family», «prosperous or dysfunctional family», but according to the level of development of the spiritual and moral potential of parental culture. Of course, teachers are particularly concerned about families with a low spiritual and moral level of parental culture. The involvement of these families in the common socio-cultural space allows us to correct the problem areas of parental culture, which in general has a positive effect on the development of the younger generations.
