Abstract. One of the diverse life manifestations of a person is clothing, which, as is known, transmits certain information about a person, acts as an element of his individual appearance, self-presentation, is used as a means of visual communication, affects the perception of himself by others, which is especially relevant in the professional sphere. Often, this visual communication transmits information about a person more accurately than verbal means.

Nowadays, interest in the style of «dendi» does not weaken, as it does not cease to attract itself as a system of manners and self-representation in the spirit of European tradition, first of all, in clothing and offers a reliable but non-standard option for finding its special style, demonstrating both the classic costume canon and the freedom of experiment in appearance.

The canon of male elegance has not lost its force now, so knowledge of the rules of business elegance is exceptionally timely especially independent men. The general approach to selection of clothes is to dress according to the occasion, at the same time in things of excellent quality and in good taste, but quality is preferable to quantity, so in business clothes the less, the better. It’s even more important to be tidy and well-groomed. The main thing is the attitude of man to himself, to others, to his work.

Ultimately, elegant people are not born. It is, first of all, education and self-perception, observation and mind, plus the utmost accuracy in everything and foresight in detail.
