The influence of historical factors on gender education of women

Abstract. This scientific article provides a historical analysis of women’s gender education, highlights and describes its evolution from ancient times to the present day. Women’s gender education is a key aspect of the socio-cultural context that shapes their identity and social roles. This process is inextricably linked with historical changes, economic conditions and social movements. A brief historical overview of the problem of education of female representatives from ancient times to the present day is given. A theoretical analysis of the influence of the historical factor on women’s gender education is presented, and the consequences of this influence for modern society are identified. The historical factor influenced women’s gender education in the following way: specific forms and content of education depended on the economic development of society, national and cultural traditions, society and the environment dictated the origin of gender norms, shaping specific roles, opportunities and self-identification over the centuries. There is a need to consider such a complex interaction as the development and transformation of views on the education of females through the prism of time in order to understand what specific factors have historically shaped women and their place in society. The author of the article covers key points related to the influence of the historical factor on the gender education of women, the article contains a general idea of the influence of the historical context, which serves as a basis for further study of the issues in this area.
