Abstract. The article analyzes the semantic specificity of the poetic works of Belgorod authors — Victoria Kichigina, Tatiana Ogurtsova, Vera Kharchenko, Lana Yasnova. On the example of the texts of these authors, sound repetition is investigated as one of the most striking phenomen of the phonics of a poetic text. Special attention is paid to assonance, alliteration, anaphora, epiphora and some other types of repetition.
The analysis of the sound organization of poetic texts by Belgorod authors allowed us to determine their preferred phonetic techniques and favorite sound repetitions. This led to the conclusion that every sound in the work is important, it is a constituent element of a single system. Sound repetition, aimed at updating the keywords of the work, is the main component of poetic phonics, it is aimed at creating integral images, gives the text a special euphony.
Poetic texts provide numerous examples of positionally fixed repetitions (first of all, it is a rhyme, it is a kind of indicator of the poetic text and creates a natural euphony of the work). Positionally unfixed repetitions are of particular importance, this is a certain link in the sound organization of the work, aimed at an appropriate poetic background, saturated in semantic and aesthetic terms, providing the reader with a more accurate perception of the author’s information. Such repetitions create peculiar sound calls between words, contribute to the creation of integral artistic images.
It is established that sound repetitions in a poetic text do not just sound, they are carriers of a certain meaning, are a component of the author’s idiostyle, give the most complete idea of the phenomenon of the language of the master of the artistic word.
