Sociocultural aspects of interaction of teachers with parents during transition of school students from elementary school in average

Abstract. In article sociocultural aspects of interaction of teachers with parents during transition of school students from elementary school in average are considered. It is emphasized that questions of sociocultural development of the identity of children and teenagers are key in the modern pedagogical theory and practice of work of school and demand creation of certain conditions on interaction with parents and other social institutes. It is noted that the period of transition of school students from elementary school in average is extremely difficult: there is a subject training, the teacher’s players are changed, there is a complication of a training material, higher demands to educational activity of school students are made. It is difficult to overestimate a role of family in overcoming all these difficulties therefore effective interaction of teachers and parents is the major condition for successful sociocultural adaptation of the child to training at high school. It is shown that work of teachers with parents of younger teenagers during this period is defined by the following main directions: respect for continuity between elementary and high school; studying of features of family education of fifth-graders for the purpose of their successful school adaptation; coordination of process of education of school students in family; psychology and pedagogical escort of parents in the course of adaptation of children to high school; organization of teaching and educational work with active involvement of parents of younger teenagers. The author has noted that practical use of the presented forms and methods of collaboration allows to organize effectively process of interaction of school with family that will contribute to the sociocultural development of children, successful school adaptation of younger teenagers, increase in professional competence of teachers and positive self-realization of parents.
