Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the text-forming possibilities of the verb teree ‘give birth to, to be born, to born’ in the Yakut language, which is the base in the subgroup of verbs of the beginning of the existence of the lexical-semantic group of verbs of being. The relevance of the research topic is determined by the insufficient study of the Yakut verbal vocabulary in terms of the problem of the structural and semantic organization of superphrasal units. For the first time the text-forming potential of the studied verb is analyzed at the level of a complex syntactic whole in the article. А complex syntactic whole is understood as a unit of text, which is a group of statements united around a single semantic center. The consideration of this verb on the basis of a complex syntactic whole as a unit of text in accordance with the principles and methods of functional-semantic and linguistic analysis are new. This study is based on a functional-semantic approach to the study of language phenomena, revealing the characteristics of the internal content of linguistic means of expressing cognitive categories. The continuous sampling method in the formation of material from lexicographic sources, the descriptive method in the implementation of contextual analysis to represent the text-forming function of the considered verb are applied in the study. The material of the study is the corpus of lexemes of the verbs of the beginning of existence identified by continuous sampling from the «Big Explanatory Dictionary of the Yakut Language», as well as the texts of Yakut fairy tales. It was revealed that the specified verb is involved in the formation of all structural parts (beginning, middle part and ending) of a complex syntactic whole as a unit of text. Further studies of the verb teree ‘give birth to, to be born, to born’ in the aspect of studying the structural and semantic organization of superphrasal units can be associated with a comprehensive description of the entire set of verbal vocabulary of the beginning of existence and their functioning as an interphrase connection taking into account the typology of texts.
