Abstract. The research is relevant due to the obvious bias of people’s communicative behavior towards aggression, the growth of conflict-provoking texts, which is caused by some social and political factors, as well as psychological tension and aggressiveness, zero-tolerance tendencies, and that is reflected in all forms of communication. Groups that are most sensitive to such changes in social communication are social networks communities. This issue to the communication format, which assumes distancing and an addresser’s suppositive anonymity. The Internet provides a good opportunity to find a target audience among a large pool of users and then to expand it. It determines the popularity of self-presentation as a speech genre in various forms of its implementation. The article discusses issues related to the linguistic features of self-presentation as a speech genre aimed at promoting nationalist ideas and radical communities. The function of speech aggression in self-presentation is analyzed. The material for the research is taken from the verses that help to identify both radical nationalist community members and their views and behavior caused by the ideas they propagandize. A song as a form of presentation is a unique genre because that it is a product of first carriers of nationalist ideas; the poetic form allows to quickly remember and easily reproduce the content of songs. Stereotypical images, metaphors, slogans in songs are aimed at uncritical acceptance of propagandized ideas and radical aggressive behavior. Discourse analysis methods were employed to research the linguistic material. Special attention is paid to the communicative aspect of self-presentation and to the linguistic means of expressing aggression in the speech genre under research.
