Abstract. This article provides information about regulations, used by government to decrease the illegal sale of alcoholic products. Experts say that almost a third of alcoholic sales in the Russian Federation are illegal. That means that the budget of Russian Federation suffers from reduced profits on ethanol excises, alcoholic products, and the citizens of the country use harmful bootlegged alcohol.
