Traditional foundations and modern innovative aspects of ethnic choreographic art of China

Abstract. The article actualizes the appeal to the topic of traditional foundations and modern innovations in the choreographic art of ethnic communities in China. This aspect of the study is becoming more important in the context of modern trends in the unification of cultural values, the rupture of traditions and the increasing interest in ethnic grounds. The purpose of this article is to analyze the foundations of the traditional choreographic art of the ethnic groups of China and to identify their relationship with innovative innovations in ethnic dance compositions. The art of choreography is considered as a constantly updating cultural phenomenon that originated in ancient times. The content and specificity of the foundations are investigated and the position of its traditional forms in modern culture is determined, as well as the importance of innovative activities to create new elements and techniques of ethnic choreography is determined. The culturological approach and the method of analyzing a wide range of scientific sources allowed us to conclude that Chinese ethnic choreographic culture contains a centuries-old and multiethnic diverse base formed by traditions, archetypes, regulations, values, beliefs and other components. The dances, their choreographic elements and traditions of some ethnic groups of China are considered, the main components of the traditional art of choreography are revealed. It is determined that it continues to play an important role for many ethnic communities in the modern world, as it acts as a part of festive and religious-ritual culture, is supported at the state and educational levels. In conclusion, it is emphasized that the continuing importance of traditional dance, despite the influence of trends in cultural globalization, allows for innovative processes that introduce new elements and increase the relevance and attractiveness of traditional culture of ethnic groups.
