Abstract. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of digital technologies on the development of student values in the modern world. The methodological basis of the study is a theoretical review of the scientific literature. This article provides a comprehensive theoretical analysis of student values as a factor in shaping their worldview in the context of digital transformation. It examines the theoretical foundations and social aspects of online communities, their impact on the transformation of value systems, and the negative factors associated with the use of digital technologies in social communications. The results highlight the risks of the prevalence of pragmatic values, a focus on material well-being and career success, while the significance of moral and ethical values, such as responsibility, empathy, and self-realization, is diminished. The article argues that social media has become a tool for influencing society, particularly young people, with opinion leaders shaping worldviews and behavior, and artificial intelligence changing communication methods. It is concluded that to harmonize the student body’s value system, it is necessary to ensure transparency and accountability of algorithms used in digital platforms and AI; develop student digital literacy in terms of the ethics of using digital technologies; and implement strategies that combine academic preparation with axiological education.

Keywords: life values; students; digital technologies; worldview; pragmatism; axiology; opinion leaders
