Abstract. This article is part of the dissertation research. The article considers the model of analysis of the main trends and problems of integration and socio-cultural processes on the example of the sphere of domestic tourism of the Russian Federation, which is an integral part of the economic development of the country. The study was conducted on the basis of statistical data, information obtained during a survey of respondents and experts who meet certain criteria and qualification requirements, trends in the negative consequences of Coronavirus infection (COVID-19) affecting the development of domestic tourism and tourism in general. Based on the studied area, a representative sample of respondents and experts, a pool of questions was compiled for subsequent analysis and description of the data obtained, which are presented in a foresight session devoted to the prospects for the development of domestic tourism in Russia until 2035 in the post-pandemic period. The compiled questions reflected the level of interest and involvement of respondents in domestic tourism, the maximum amount of funds that respondents are willing to spend using domestic tourism services. The respondents also had to note, in their own opinion, the status (fading, stagnating, developing) for each type of tourism over the past 8 years, which allowed them to draw certain conclusions and draw up trends. The foresight session model is applicable for working with statistical data to determine negative and favorable trends in tourism and socio-cultural interaction of various Eurasian countries, followed by measures to increase public interest in domestic tourism by launching new destinations, creating high-quality and diverse tourist products, increasing the availability and quality of services provided.
