Internet-сcommunication as the variant of authentic written speech

Abstract. The article deals with the language status of Internet-communication on the example of commentary genre. The discussion moment is the problem of its reference to the oral or written speech, or to the both together. Some internet-commentary peculiarities (pragmatic, media, structural, semantic, stylistic) permit to define the Internet-communication as the particular modus of the written speech functioning like the language activity.

For to reveal the internet-commentary peculiarities we have analyzed the commentaries placed under the posts of different materials in Internet (PostScience, Carefully, discussion!), so as commentaries under the videohosting You Tube. In total we have analyzed 6438 commentaries for 10 messages. The social nets intrude really into all the spheres of society. Even such highly institutional sphere as politics is forming now not only by professional authors like political persons and journalists, but also by the simple citizens.

Our analysis of example corpus permits to get the previous conclusion that texts of electronic communication represent the particular modus of writing functioning as language activity or as the variant of authentic written speech.
