Abstract. The article considers the value orientations of modern youth. It’s not a secret for anyone that young people are the future of the country, and the fate of a strange person definitely depends on what values and value orientations are common in the minds of young people. The problems of youth have always been relevant for research, in particular interest has been shown in relation to the values and moral development of young people. Modern youth was born and grew during a turning point, when new, western views came to replace the already established values, which influenced the formation of the value orientations of the younger generation, which at the present time is 18-30 years old. Values help the individual to build an individual image of the world, which is in close connection with the social world. The building of an individual value system is based on what is definitely existing now and what is relevant for the society in which this personality is formed. The main tendencies of transformation of value orientations of modern youth are considered in the article, the factors influencing transformation of values of modern youth are allocated.
