Abstract. the hypothesis of the study is that the professionalism of the coach-mentor is determined not so much by the breadth of his general educational horizons, but by his knowledge of typical patterns of specialized applied practice, his personal experience in using these patterns in the course of professional activities and the ability to convey this knowledge and the corresponding practical skills of using professional templates when working with his ward.

In relation to coaching as mentoring, carried out in cases of study with a pupil or mentor of a technology for analyzing behavior and activity in situations of social conflict, the problem of research is the lack of general pedagogical, psychological and sociological knowledge. The solution to this problem is somehow connected with the need to develop an operational technological model, which we called a roadmap or navigator for analyzing social conflict, as well as managing the latter.

In previous publications devoted to the analysis of social conflict, problems were also mentioned, firstly, abstractness, secondly, the contradictory variety of various scientific and disciplinary approaches to the analysis of social conflict, and thirdly, the ambiguous interpretation of a number of concepts used in this case. The relevance of the research topic and the proposed road map or navigational model of social conflict in this article is to attempt to address all four of the above issues.

The purpose of the study is the formal-logical and substantive-content development of the technological operational model of the navigator for managing social conflict, which is capable and convenient to use, including as a mechanism of professional mentoring.

The main method used to achieve this goal was the scientific modeling method.

Conclusions: the results of the study confirm the hypothesis and set the coach-mentor the task of combining fundamental and specialized education, as well as accumulating and using personal experience of functioning in the specialized field, without which the use of the Social Conflict Analysis Navigator seems ineffective.

Keywords: coach-mentor; professional template; social conflict; social conflict management navigator; professional mentoring mechanism
