Abstract. In the work the statistical data of leading research companies, the Association of Tour Operators of Russia and the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism in the Crimea are considered. It is established that the territory of the Crimea has great resources, on the basis of which a competitive attractive for all segments of the population and all age groups can be created. Distribution of the main types and negative trends in the development of tourism after the accession of the Crimea to the Russian Federation. The effect of the analysis of secondary data, as well as developed recommendations for the development of tourism in the Republic.
