Abstract. It covers the activities of the Scientific and Technical Library of the ANO DPO KTsPK Personal – one of the largest libraries of the steel industry, whose main task is to meet the professional information needs of employees of PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works and the PJSC MMK Group of Companies of Magnitogorsk. A retrospective represents the main areas of work of the Technical Library since 1930.

It describes the capabilities of the Scientific and Technical Library`s website, in particular, of the corporate electronic library containing full-text magazines, books, reports of Chermet Corporation LLC, scientific and technical documentation (NTD).

IT-based management of the work of the library is reflected in the website service «On-line services», such as electronic document delivery (EDD), whereby the user can place an order to scan a part of the document (articles, chapters from the book, etc.); Virtual Reference Service (VRS) – a section in which the user receives answers to questions related to the activities of the library and its information resources; Interlibrary loan service (ILS) – the ability to order an electronic copy of the document from other libraries.

The article describes the methods of library and information services for technical and engineering employees of the enterprise.

The most important activity of the library in information support for specialists is described in details as a work in the SDI mode (selective distribution of information) and in the DSM mode (differentiated services for managers).
