Abstract. The author has presented a linguocognitive analysis of cognitive models in Russian paremiology with component ‘good’. The relevance of the research topic is due to the special scientific and cultural significance of the ethical concept <good> in the Russian language picture of the world, which is a prototypical concept among the diverse ideas about the nuances of human relations, within the framework of an anthropocentric and cognitive-oriented approach to language learning. The article deals with cognitive models and idealized cognitive model, which are expressed precisely in the proveb from goodness – goodness is not sought, and the relationship between them is determined. In addition, the article also conducts research on 4 principles of constructing an idealized cognitive model, which are as follows: propositional structure, image-schematic structure, metaphorical transfer and metonymic transfer. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the linguocognitive analysis of cognitive models of paremia. The results showed, that the paremiological sense can be considered as an idealized cognitive model, each varied value of paremia can be considered as a separate cognitive model that belongs to the same idealized cognitive model, and that the essence of describing the specifics of cognitive modeling in paremiology is in the study of propositional structure, image-schematic structure, metaphorical transfer and metonymic transfer. In addition, paremii leave well alone ethical concept of <good> can be metaphorically presented as a real concrete object, as tangible property and as the correct direction – on the one hand, on the other – this concept can still be seen metonymically as a special value of <property> the word ‘good’.
