Abstract. This article is devoted to the analysis of one of the mixed models of a complex syntactic whole. The relevance of the research is determined by the absence in Tatar linguistics of a methodology for analyzing a complex syntactic whole in the aspect of the unity of the plans of its content and expression. The purpose of the study is to determine the features of the expanding language model in the Tatar language. The research material was texts related to different functional styles of the Tatar language. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the complex analysis of a complex syntactic whole constructed according to a mixed model, in the introduction of new terms for the designation of the types of this model. The article offers a sample analysis and schema of a complex syntactic whole of an expanding language model. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that according to the external form, a complex syntactic whole can be of two types: a simple and a mixed model. The mixed models include 6 types of models: expanding language model, periodically expanding language model, narrowing language model, periodically narrowing language model, combined language model «rhombus», combined language model «hourglass». In this paper, an expanding language model is considered. The complex syntactic whole of the mixed model includes both simple and complex sentences. In an expanding language model, each subsequent sentence has a more complex structure than the previous one. Complex syntactic integers built on an expanding language model are productive in texts of literary, artistic, scientific style, as well as in the style of mass communication. The practical significance of the research is explained by the fact that its results can be used in educational and special courses and special seminars on the syntax of the Tatar language, stylistics and text problems.
