Abstract. The article presents an analysis of the processes of integration and disintegration of localities that act as key drivers of the evolution of the socio-cultural space of Eurasia, influencing the formation of scenarios of socio-cultural development. The transformation of the geopolitical architecture of the world is shaping the conditions in which the bipolar model is giving way to a complex system of multiple centers of power, strengthening the role of local socio-cultural identities. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing tension between the unifying pressure of global economic and socio-cultural standards and the desire of localities to preserve the socio-cultural matrix, autonomy and sovereignty. Understanding integration and disintegration as fundamental mechanisms of socio-cultural evolution of localities makes it possible to define the Eurasian socio-cultural space as a state of «mobile equilibrium» under the pressure of a globalized society. The socio-cultural space of Eurasia is characterized by the coherence of traditional and innovative elements that determine the prospects for the development of local communities in the context of developing adaptive scenarios that preserve socio-cultural identity. The dynamics of fragmentation of culture and sociality are compensated by the formation of new integration clusters based on socio-cultural and civilizational kinship associated with the transition from utilitarian cooperation to deep socio-cultural synergy, where local communities act as the foundation for building a stable multipolar system, making a kind of transition from imperial models of integration to network and polycentric forms of interaction. The forecast scenarios of socio-cultural development of localities, taking into account the risks of socio-cultural erosion and the prospects for constructing sovereign socio-cultural poles, reflect multidirectional trends from the universalization of socio-cultural forms to the activation of protective mechanisms for the preservation of local socio-cultures. The leading trend is not the linear pursuit of a single development model, but the divergence of modernization paths while maintaining functional interdependence. Local communities choose selective integration, which means connecting to global economic and technological networks while preserving their socio-cultural identity.
