Abstract. The article analyzes the results of the early parliamentary elections held in Denmark in March 2026. The profiles of the main political parties that participated in them are presented, as well as key elements of their election programs aimed at various segments of Danish civil society. It is noted that a distinctive feature of the Danish party-political system is the division of all parties into two blocs: the «red», which includes left-wing, center-left and green parties, focusing mainly on employees, state and municipal employees, and the «blue», which includes liberal, conservative and nationalist parties and movements. for which the target group is representatives of business and liberal professions. The course of the election campaign is reviewed, the main issues of concern to Danish voters and the main results of this campaign are indicated. It is shown that the main influence on the election results was the dissatisfaction of a significant proportion of voters with the results of the government led by the leader of the Social Democrats party, Matte Frederiksen, which also included representatives of the liberal Venstre Party and the liberal-conservative Moderate Coalition party, led by former Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen and not not included in any of the specified blocks. The results of cooperation between the Frederiksen’s Government and the states belonging to the Baltic-Scandinavian macroregion are presented. The results of negotiations on the formation of a new Danish government are analyzed, taking into account the positions of various parties that were elected to the new parliament of this country following the elections.
