Abstract. This article summarizes the key achievements and results of the research work of the Scientific Council «Socio-political and demographic problems of the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU)» at the Department of Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences (UN RAS) in the period from 2019 to 2025, under the leadership of the founder of the Scientific Council, an outstanding scientist in the field of sociology and the processes of Eurasian integration, of Professor G.I. Osadchaya. Since its establishment, the Scientific Council has brought together leading researchers from all EAEU member states and observer states, helped consolidate the efforts of scientists around the Russian Federation, strengthen its position in the Eurasian region, and contributed to the creation of a unified social and humanitarian space. In the context of the development of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), the Scientific Council aims to create a unified scientific environment for joint research in the states of the Eurasian region. This initiative is aimed at deepening scientific cooperation between researchers from the EAEU countries, which will make it possible to more effectively study and solve the current socio-political and demographic challenges facing integration processes. The article presents the proposals of the Scientific Secretary of the Scientific Council, M.L. Vartanova to further develop the activities of the Scientific Council in order to enhance the effectiveness of socio-economic and socio-humanitarian processes in the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, which will contribute to the creation of a single space for scientific research, knowledge exchange and joint projects in the Eurasian region.
