Mechanisms of rapprochement of Muslim and Russian-speaking cultures in Russia

Abstract. This article is devoted to identifying and describing the mechanisms of rapprochement between Muslim and Russian-speaking cultures in Russia. The study is based on sociological surveys and opinions of sociologists, culturologists, religious scholars and statesmen. At the very beginning of the study, the significance of this study is emphasized, which is based on historical and statistical data, according to which the convergence of Muslim and Russian-speaking cultures is an urgent problem in Russia. Islam, which has deep historical roots in Russia, and the Russian-speaking culture, formed on the basis of Orthodox traditions, have a rich history of interaction that requires careful study. The number of Muslims in Russia is steadily growing, and the relevance of this work is due to the modern challenges that both cultures face in the face of global changes. In this work, the author highlighted several key topics that will help to better understand the mechanisms of rapprochement between Muslim and Russian-speaking cultures. In the final part of the article, the author concludes that the key factor in the convergence of cultures was the development of oriental science, as well as the development of multicultural cities, which became platforms for the interaction of different cultures. It is important to realize that the convergence of cultures is an urgent task that requires theoretical and practical steps. It is necessary to develop cultural exchange programs, educational initiatives and projects aimed at strengthening intercultural dialogue.
