Abstract. The authors present a scientific comparative linguistic study of the transformation of words, phrases, phraseological units, sentences in the Russian and Chinese versions of the Bible, and describe their features. The article identifies several common groups that characterize the ways of their changes depending on three aspects: the degree of correspondence to the Bible text, the presence or absence of allegory, and the structure of the vocabulary. A comparative analysis of biblical expressions from early and late, Chinese and Russian versions of the Bible, a database of scientific publications of mainland China and controlled territories containing more than 70 million full-text materials was carried out. The results showed that over the past year a wide range of application of biblical words, phrases, and phraseological units in the global information space has emerged. Within the framework of this work, the content of the concept of «biblicalism» was considered in the form of lexical units expressing the concepts of Christian religious discourse. Based on general scientific methods (discourse analysis, formalization method, linguistic observation method, etc.), the main principles of constructing a classification of biblical expressions in the structure of speech production were summarized and presented. Taking into account the results of theoretical research, a typology was developed that takes into account several aspects equally, especially important when reviewing the vocabulary of biblical etymology and, accordingly, contributes to an adequate perception of religious concepts and their correct use. The empirical material is the religious narrative of the Chinese and Russian communicative space. The results of the research can be used in studying the relevant topics of theoretical and applied nature in the following areas of knowledge: cultural studies, sociology, linguistics, etc.
