Abstract. The article analyzes the results of the parliamentary elections held in Cyprus and Malta in May 2026. The characteristics of the main political parties of these countries that participated in these elections are given, as well as the main points of their election programs aimed at various segments of civil society. The article analyzes how the election campaigns were conducted in both countries, highlights the main issues of concern to Cypriot and Maltese voters, and summarizes the results of these campaigns. It is shown that the main influence on the election results was the dissatisfaction of a significant proportion of voters in Cyprus and Malta with the deterioration of their socio-economic situation and purchasing power, including due to the increase in the number of migrants who arrived in these countries over the past few years. Therefore, it is no coincidence that support for right-wing anti-migrant parties has grown in both countries: the National Popular Front of Cyprus and the Maltese Brothers.
