Pleasure as a hedonistic principle

Abstract. Object of present article is the hedonism problematics, and a subject – a phenomenon of pleasure as attribute of life of the modern person. The essence of hedonism is investigated, its demand is shown by a modern consumer society, its specificity and differences from principles of puritan ethics reveals. Sights of researchers at the social nature of hedonism are traced, the maintenance of socially-philosophical and sociological concepts to which the hedonism is presented as a special way of attitude and action reveals. Features of various forms of hedonism, their influence on behaviour and consciousness of the individual and a society as a whole, a parity in them rational and sensual reveal. Pleasures and pleasures are analyzed in various forms: as the existential phenomena, as a way of life and system of installations, as socialisation and self-realisation forms. It is shown, how the pleasure principle has got now universal value, has turned to the main trend and the major way of existence. The methodological basis of article was made by ontologic principles of the dialectics, allowed to present the hedonism phenomenon in its integrity and discrepancy, to open conditions of its occurrence, to track mechanisms of its development as a social phenomenon, the urgency proves to be true realities of modern time. The role of various forms of the social control, called to regulate process of reception of pleasures is investigated. Article contains elements of scientific novelty which can be shown to following theses: (1) pleasures are a component of modern life and an ontologic principle of life of the person and a society; (2) the consumer society has transformed pleasure in an original cult, has created conditions for occurrence of a phenomenon of hyperhedonism.
