The author proposes a theoretical framework synthesizing Ulrich Beck’s concept of «risk society» and Gerhard Schulze’s concept of «experience society» (Erlebnisgesellschaft), considering them as complementary explanatory models. The thesis is substantiated regarding the formation within the digital environment of a phenomenon defined as the «risk society of impressions», in which the pursuit of intense emotions becomes a source of new risks, and destructive behavior is constituted as an appealing emotional experience. Three levels of risks are identified: direct impact, systemic effects (including the «Overton window» mechanism), and the meta-level of cognitive warfare. Key mechanisms shaping destructive behavioral patterns among youth are described: algorithmic radicalization as a systemic negative effect of the attention economy, and performative identity as a form of social construction of identity in the digital environment. The conclusion emphasizes the necessity of a comprehensive counter-strategy, including the development of critical thinking, a revision of the institutional responsibility of digital platforms, and the adaptation of traditional socialization institutions to the challenges of the cognitive era.

Keywords: digital mechanisms; destructive behavior; youth; risk society; experience society; algorithmic radicalization; cognitive warfare; social construction of reality; digital environment

Semkina Evgeniya Nikolaevna Nevinnomyssk State Institute of Humanities and Technology, Nevinnomyssk, Russia E-mail: Dom38-2@yandex.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9903-1170 RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=706200 Bulakh Ksenia Vladimirovna Nevinnomyssk State Institute of Humanities and Technology, Nevinnomyssk, Russia E-mail: kseniyabulah@yandex.ru RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=645657 Burlyaeva Viktoria Arsentievna Nevinnomyssk State Institute …

[42,5

post-5054","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-issue-1-2026","category-article
["GET
