The relevance of this topic lies in the fact that migration often leads to the arrival of migrants and their family members in the host country, resulting in the formation of interethnic families. This has both positive and negative consequences for both the migrants and the host society, affecting various aspects of people’s lives, including the transmission and preservation of ethno-cultural values, religious identity, and socialization. Children of migrants are particularly vulnerable to these changes, as they are in the process of forming their personalities and worldviews. The article explores certain aspects of the formation of religious beliefs, values, and practices among this population. Based on an analysis of scientific literature, the author presents a concept of religious socialization in children.

Keywords: socialization; religion; adaptation; family; ethnocultural values; interethnic family; migrants

Ibragimova Alisa Akhtyamovna Center for Islamic Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan, Russia Kazan State Power Engineering University, Kazan, Russia E-mail: alisa.garifullin@mail.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3970-545X RSCI: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=742550 Abstract.
