Kuprin\u2019s creation and ancient mythology. A special attention was paid for a question of mythological influence on compositions of Russian writer. On doing this project G.S. Vardugina\u2019s dissertation was learnt, where the author wrote that the \u201cmythological\u201d thinking was peculiar to A.I. Kuprin. The story \u201cThe Granet Bracelet\u201d and Theban cycle of Greek mythology were chosen as the objects of analysation. The Kuprin\u2019s story has become the object of scientific studying not at the first time, but it has not studied in such case yet. On analysing the structural-semantic method and the method of comparative analysis were used. Detailed reading and profound study of scientific sources, which are connected to this theme, let confirm the \u0430vailability of Greek mythology\u2019s influence on creation of A.I.
