Abstract.<\/strong> The description of the hero’s miraculous healing is one of the important episodes of the epic narrative. Being similar in their content and often different in terms of expression, they convey the \u00abreal reality of a folklore work\u00bb, which is conveyed through the motive. Through the healing motif, the Kalmyk epic \u00abDzhangar\u00bb and the Altai \u00abYangar\u00bb depict one of the turning point and dramatic moments of a heroic battle or other collisions of epic heroes in the context of which the special qualities and exceptional abilities of a hero are manifested.<\/p>\n

The content of the nuclear part of the motif (invariant) in the epics under consideration in general terms looks typical: the epic hero, outside his ecumene, is subjected to physical harm, healed thanks to his own or someone else\u2019s healing abilities.<\/p>\n

The study showed that the textual embodiment of the healing motif in the form of voluminous descriptions demonstrates the specificity of epic forms and the ambiguity of its key segments (support words), which in various combinations and formulaic compatibility with other verbal components create \u00absupport conceptual nodes of the text\u00bb.<\/p>\n

The analysis showed that microconstants serve as a connecting link for individual elements of the motif and contribute to the preservation of the nuclear part of the typical formations of the epic, thereby inhibiting the process of destruction and transformation of the epic text.<\/p>\n

It has been established that the textual embodiment of the \u00abmiraculous healing\u00bb motif in its variable diversity conveys the essence of situations, states, relationships, actions, loci, objects, characteristics that are important for understanding the epic events and conflicts depicted in the Kalmyk epic \u00abDzhangar\u00bb and the Altai epic \u00abYangar\u00bb, and also demonstrates how key segments of the epic narrative, preserved in the collective memory of the people, are translated in national epic traditions.
\nIn this aspect, the analyzed problem is considered for the first time.<\/p>\n
