Particular attention is paid to the description of the concept of \u00abconceptual space\u00bb introduced by D.S. Likhachev. This study also attempts to analyze the relationship of the latter with the main structural components of the cognitive system: \u00abmental space\u00bb and \u00abframe\u00bb. The main purpose of this work is to analyze the existing interpretations of the concept. In this regard, it is necessary to pay special attention to: the interdisciplinarity of the concept \u00abconcept\u00bb (many scientific fields are mixed in cognitive science, including sociology, cultural studies, history, linguistics, psychology, etc.); the number of scientific approaches to the study of the concept and conceptual space, sometimes contradicting each other; uncertainty in the subjects of study of the concept and conceptual space (varies depending on the opinion of specific scientists).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This article compares the concepts of \u00abframe\u00bb and \u00abconceptual space\u00bb, which led to the conclusion that the \u00abframe\u00bb is much wider than the \u00abconceptual space\u00bb, since it is mainly represented not by two, but by several concepts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a result of the study, we obtain a significant range of variability of the concept concept, which allows us to conclude that there are as many varieties of the concept concept in the world as there are scientists representing it, which means that further study of all the concepts and phenomena of cognitive science is a prerequisite for the further development of this science.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> concept; concept sphere; conceptual space; linguistic picture of the world; frame; mental space; interdisciplinarity<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rusanova Maria Aleksandrovna Kuban State University, Krasnodar, Russia E-mail: marija.rusanova2011@yandex.ru Zinkovskaya Anastasia Vladimirovna Kuban State University, Krasnodar, Russia E-mail: anastassiat@rambler.ru ORCID: https:\/\/orcid.org\/0000-0003-3742-5064 Abstract.
