This analysis is based on the theory of monostylistic and polystylistic culture developed by L.G. Ionin, which allowed us to analyze the interdependence of the basic fundamental values of Russian culture of the Soviet period with their implementation in relation to public holidays. The author shows how the ritual actions performed during the holidays contributed to the formation of identity as part of a cultural whole.
