The material was 190 of his letters sent from the active army to the rear from 1941 to 1946. The recreated portrait has a reflected character, representing a view of the addressee through the eyes of the sender. The need for this approach is due to the lack of speech production of Maria herself at our disposal. As a basic approach to portraiture, the techniques of linguistic personology are used, which are subject to adjustment in connection with the specifics of the research situation. When analyzing Timofey Antipin’s epistolary, we assume that hi takes into account on Maria’s communicative needs and attitudes, moral priorities, and also takes into account the experience of their joint family life with a well-established distribution of roles. The mental activity carried out by the addressee is a so-called everyday interpretative process, which itself is variable and potentially conflicting. Identifying the features of the historical personality of Mary is based on the semantic blocks from Timothy’s letters that are considered relevant for solving this problem – «factual», «evaluative», «information about the relations of communicants» and «Timothy’s advice». The interpretive core for reconstructing the addressee’s personality is fragments containing assessments and information about the relationship of the spouses. The implementation of the chosen research approach made it possible to get an idea of the basic personality traits of Maria (loyalty, loyalty, reliability, sincerity, care, kindness, purity, virtue, loyalty to her life principles, but at the same time firmness of character), which she was able to maintain after enduring all the hardships of wartime. Along with this, it was possible to detect a noticeable evolution of her personality under the influence of extreme circumstances. It can be noted that the «reflected» portrait, hypothetical and subjective, includes a variety of personal qualities of the addressee, but at the same time it shows the structure and specifics of his language personality very limited.

Keywords: epistolary text; natural written speech; addressee; sender; historical personality; interpretative linguistics; linguistic personology

Logunova Nataliya Vasilyevna Perm state university Solikamsk branch, Solikamsk, Russia E-mail: logunovaN@yandex.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5772-6385 РИНЦ: https://www.elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=662253 Mazitova Larisa L’vovna Perm state university Solikamsk branch, Solikamsk, Russia E-mail: mazitova-larisa@rambler.ru ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6775-8233 РИНЦ: https://elibrary.ru/author_profile.asp?id=660293 Abstract.
