Tolstoy &#171;Anna Karenina&#187; and &#171;Confession&#187;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong>Cheresyuk Polina Andreevna<\/strong><br \/>\nBelgorod state national research university, Belgorod, Russia<br \/>\nE-mail: cheresuck.polina@yandex.ru<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Abstract.<\/strong> The article is devoted to the analysis of metaphor as a means of expressing the author\u2019s worldview in a literary text. Literary text represents the main scope of the functioning of metaphors. This is directly related to the tasks of the literary text.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a result, it turns out that metaphorical expressions have not only explicit, but also explicit arguments. A metaphor is not only a language category, but also a productive tool for cognition and interpretation in natural conditions. Analysis of linguistic material from the works of L.N. Tolstoy&#8217;s &#171;Anna Karenina&#187; and &#171;Confession&#187; reveal the implicit characteristics of the metaphor in the aspect of the formation of the author\u2019s established attitudes and values.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the novel &#171;Anna Karenina&#187;, the author raises several fairly important topics. The writer discusses values such as family. In the autobiographical work &#171;Confession&#187;, which was written after &#171;Anna Karenina&#187;, L.N. Tolstoy, experiencing a spiritual crisis, is trying to answer the question: what is the meaning of life?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the final stage of the study, central problems were discovered \u2013 the search for the meaning of life, true beliefs.
