Kalmyk national wrestling \u201cBeyk barildan\u201d is one of the varieties of belt wrestling and has its own characteristics. She, like other types of wrestling of Mongolian origin, isolated in an independent form of wrestling in ancient times, and so far has undergone changes associated with etiquette, the technique of performing techniques, the tactics of conducting a duel and the rules of the competition, but at the same time has not lost its unique tradition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Kalmyk heroic epic \u201cDzhangar\u201d (\u201cOn the victory of Bogdo Dzhangar over the Khan of Kuryur Erdeni Khangas Khan\u201d), \u201cOn the victory of the Glorious Bogdo Dzhangar over the Ferocious Hara Kines\u201d and others) are mostly descriptive in nature, they note the smallest details of the fight of wrestlers, starting with the selection wrestlers and ending with a description of the presentation of the award to the winner. In general, folklore materials contribute to the accumulation of knowledge about everyday life, customs, mores, sports of Kalmyks. The folklore materials under consideration artistically describe the methods of the Kalmyk struggle and protection from them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the end of the article, the authors conclude that the struggle in Kalmyk society was not just a spectacular contest. It was a martial art, as applied to military operations. Over time, it has changed, becoming competitive. In the heroic epos \u201cDzhangar\u201d, the historically fostered integral system of martial arts is presented in poetic form \u2013 the Kalmyk national struggle, which includes all aspects of training a hero.
