Abstract. In the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language, an important direction is the writing of textbooks corresponding to the modern realities of the educational continuum. These should be considered electronic textbooks that correspond to the goals and objectives of teaching a foreign language (Russian) language.
The article presents a methodological concept of an educational electronic publication for foreign students with a level of B1 training, studying in the field of training «Tourism». The essential characteristic of the textbook should be considered ready-made scenarios of classes with the inclusion of audio and video materials.
The article reflects the step-by-step work with the material of the textbook, introduces the model of the pedagogical process that ensures the interaction of the teacher and the student.
